Dressed Up & COVID-19
Like you, I have sat in wonder and amazement at the changes and adjustments COVID-19 has necessitated of us. And I admit that, as I am sure it has been for you, some have caused fear and panic. However, like you, I trust that God will provide the eventual peace, clarity and restoration that I crave.
In the meantime, I have been forced to make some difficult decisions, and the one that affects you is this: until the Spring of 2021, Dressed Up will not be restocking or introducing any new merchandise.
This decision, based on prudence and my dedication to sensitivity – both emotional and economic – though saddening and difficult, is one that I recognize as being the right one in these circumstances. In varying degrees, none of us have been left unscathed during these times. Some of us, by the grace of God, have managed to minimize its effects on our lives and livelihoods. Many others have not been as fortunate. My little shoppe barely in its infancy in March 2020, though valiant, has been severely affected.
Until further notice (and with the support of fantastic landlords), the shoppe will remain in its present location, but will operate by appointment only. However, remember, the store is also fully online. But again, please understand that until we as a nation get this pandemic under control, the economy regains a more steady footing for low and middle income families and lives cease being lost in its current magnitude, Dressed Up will not be restocking or introducing any new merchandise until the Spring of 2021.
However, for those of you who pride yourselves on planning ahead and those others who thrive on the value in a good deal (especially in the holiday season), please feel free to visit us online – - and receive 40% off site-wide. Enter code – thedresslady - at checkout.
Beauties, be safe. Keep the faith. We will get through this (and, help is coming on January 20th). We will get together soon, I promise. And, we will get fabulously #dressedup and celebrate!
The Dress Lady.
